Notes on process...
I keep my old proofs that were made to test the print matrix before committing to the final stage and full edition. The proofs made on acid free paper last for a long time so i reuse them all the time. My aim is to work spontaneously with memories that appear, or with collected items or within mediums themselves to let the process of adding and subtracting occur until the work is complete. While I am doing this, I recognize the autonomy or spontaneousness of the artwork as it appears and emerges by itself and is formed with these threads of dual worlds that becomes fixed on a matrix or collaged on paper and reassembled once more.

Trying to capture shadows...Here's one of the phantoms. Its harder than anticipated...all in the lighting This is part of the graduate certificate i did in 2020.
Looking at you 2021! Where to start?? For me deciding on where to start making often means revisiting all the things made before... forming some new threads and hopefully things evolve from there. These objects were exhibited in my solo exhibition inspired by sing sings in Papua New Guinea. They are collected elements fashioned together to be worn. A kind of amulet i guess or adornment for the body. This could be the project continuation for me....Where are you starting?
