Trying to capture shadows...Here's one of the phantoms. Its harder than anticipated...all in the lighting This is part of the graduate certificate i did in 2020.
Looking at you 2021! Where to start?? For me deciding on where to start making often means revisiting all the things made before... forming some new threads and hopefully things evolve from there. These objects were exhibited in my solo exhibition inspired by sing sings in Papua New Guinea. They are collected elements fashioned together to be worn. A kind of amulet i guess or adornment for the body. This could be the project continuation for me....Where are you starting?
Exciting news, ive started a facebook page for my art. When in fb land drop in & like my page Karen Kaese Art. I love that i can link it with my Instagram account which is my preferred platform.
