I used to be satisfied with just the line...Its a mystery to me... I still don't know a lot about etching and with each of these plates there has been that unknown thread that produces a surprising outcome and keeps me wanting to learn more.. to create more depth and tone if I can...
Some days a cup of tea never lasts as long as you want it to so I had to put the kettle on and start the tea ritual....many times in between the proofs.. Prints still not finished as I scraped some parts imparting a grey and try as I might I cant get the velvet black I want.. Anyway the radio is on ...and the song is Charley Pride's Roll on Mississippi..
