Contemporary Impressions March 2018
​This  series of prints were exhibited at Brunswick Street Gallery in Melbourne. I'm glad I got to show them again after the initial appearance at my solo show in 2017.    The creatures are from an ongoing series I'm creating. They are about Masalai which is a term given to spirits in Papua New Guinea (my cultural heritage). Masalai are mostly feared as they are said to trick humans and a lot of cultural stories indicate this. Anthropomorphic, two headed, beastly  and totally wonderful for the imagination! They stem from animist beliefs that pervade today in PNG and other places.
​The figures were made from collages  in my show Flash Alternative Enigma's about Bilas or dressing up & transformation..
